I am 55 or older

If you are a senior, besides some of the regular employment services available through Illinois WorkNet and the IDES, you may be able to participate in the Senior Service Community Employment Program (if you are age 55 and older) if you are trying to re-enter the workforce and are low income.

There is also a special Senior Job Bank/Workforce 50 that can help you find work if you are age 50 and older.

Another rich resource for employment opportunities is through the National Service Corporation which can help you connect to programs such as AmeriCorps or Senior Corps.
