Transportation Task Force
Expanding Accessible Transportation Options
TTF’s Mission
The Montana Centers for Independent Living Transportation Task Force works to expand and improve transportation options for people with disabilities across Montana. Bringing together disability advocates and transportation professionals from around the state, the task force focuses on identifying barriers, developing practical solutions, and ensuring that transportation systems meet the diverse needs of Montanans with disabilities.
Through active engagement at both the local and state level, the task force advocates for stronger, more inclusive transportation policies and increased funding for accessible transit services. Members collaborate closely with public and private transportation providers to improve accessibility, enhance service quality, and expand options in both rural and urban communities. The task force’s goal is to make sure every Montanan—regardless of ability or location—has reliable, accessible transportation that supports independence and community inclusion.
